All you unhappy people seem to have nothing else better to do then to mash up the place. If everyone is so unhappy, then please get the hell out. I like it hear and i do not have any problems. And for your comments about the staff, I agree with the main office BS about not caring, but as for the supers, Things get done. MAybe sometimes not right but they try. I find them to be polite and pleasant. And the CHUBBY manager, I have had to deal with him and he is a nice guy. Ive asked for a couple of items to be changed and painting and they did not have to give it to me, but he tries to make everyone happy. If anyone cares, you think hes in the truck all the time, ive seen him many of time cleaning the garbage areas because of you slobs, upgrading the garbage areas, once in a while cleaning the dirty laundry rooms and other things. So to bash people you dont even know it really stupid. But i guess its part of the trash that lives in McGuires grove. But unfortunately, it scum in this place that makes it bad for everyone else. Go ahead and make all your insults and all you belly aching, but dont forget, it YOUR kind of people that make it terrible to live here.(TRASHY PEOPLE) So if the grass is greener outside McGuires grove then get the f**k out!!!!! Cant stand to hear all the crap of unhappy people. I guess you cant make it anywhere else and on goverment subsidy. It may not be the best place, but i try to make it my home. You should too. I dont have a mold problem. Try cleaning your f**kin filthy S**ithole you call a home!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The super may be nice, but the last time he was at my apartment to do some work in the bathroom (never mind that he never took care of the original problem, a moldy smell-no surprise there), he left the place a mess. The tub had dirty footprints in it. The sink was left dirty, and the water was left running. That caused the pipe below the sink to leak, which left a trail of water along the floor. He also left the old caulk in the wastebasket, plus he used my paper towels to wipe up!Have a little respect! this may not be the greatest place, but I keep my apartment nice. I shouldn' have to clean up your mess!

If you people think its such a horrible place.. THEN MOVE OUT. Buy your own place and maybe there wont be so many disgruntle people. Dont ruin it for the rest of us who enjoy living here. My place dont smell moldy or etc. So maybe its the way people choose to live

I have been a tenant at McGuires for 3 years. What people don't realize is the we the tenant make the community. I have seen a great deal of changes made since we have the new super and his helper. They are courteousk they are always pleasant, and things get done faster, not like before with the other super. To me it seems that they are trying. I also try to keep the out side of my apartment nice, but when I see people walking their dog, and not picking up,I get furious, only because I tried so hard to keep it nice, so I ask the person to please pick up. No pets, so for God sake don't make it so obvious, clean up, maybe if we show that we pick up and keep the grounds clean maybe then the rule would change.

An answer for Anonymous dated 8/24/2008: I guess you should learn to read. I stated that we MOVED OUT and BOUGHT A HOUSE!!!! And also (again learn to read) the mold is UNDER ALL THE BUILDINGS!!!!! That is no control of any tennent- current or previous.

WOW!!!! Happy Renter237 and one of the Anonymous You sound like you work for the company or you are the super. The statement that one person is going to ruin it for all is just plain STUPID!!!! Maybe you will not get that raise you want. I hope Little ferry reads this thing. I think I am going to call the main office and tell them about this site!!!!!!!!!!!

Not trying to ignite a fight, but I have a mold allergy and always keep my home exceptionally clean. While I found my neighbors to be very nice people and actually liked the complex, the mold was on the windows and was caused by the cold outside causing condensation with the heat from inside (winter months). We were unable to open our windows because of all of the stink bugs and mold grew seemingly overnight. Had maintenance not ignored our work orders and come to clean the mold prior to me having to call 8 million times, we would have had a better experience. But between the mold, stray cats causing our dog to get fleas and costing us $60 for a box of Advantix, rude people at the main office up north...this place wasn't for us, and potential renters need to be made aware of all of this. If this place is great for any of you guys, then terrific! I'm glad someone is having a positive experience. But the purpose of this site is to air our grievances, regardless of whether anyone agrees or not, and to make future consumers aware of this.
