Two Years and I Love It!

I've lived in Skytop for a little over two years and based on other places I looked at, I could not be happier.

The apartments are nice and the grounds are well maintained. A few month back I had signed my third lease and I have not seen a rent increase since I've moved in, while others I know have had their rent increased every year.

I feel that it is a very safe and quiet complex to live in and it is in a great location for my commute to work.

One reviewer mentioned an abundance of "twenty-something" college students living here. I'm 27 and I have yet to see the this group roaming the streets. I am seeing more families moving in with grade school aged children but the children are not running wild.

It's definately a lot nicer than some of the other places I have lived in and the management is more attentive to issues that come up while respecting privacy.

You really must be a friend or relative of the owner. My rent is raised each year and so is the rent of everyone I know here. I also have to pay a "new" local "tax" assessment fee each year. Only the tax check has to be made out to the building management, not the township. Lots and lots of kids. The really young ones are okay. Some like the two teenagers who just got arrested for attacking and robbing an old man right outside the complex in broad daylight, are more and more prevalent. Young couples and college kids moving here? Where? It's mostly recent East Indian and ---- immigrants who are filling up these apartments and using them as "temporary" domiciles so they can quickly move on their way to a "better" life as homeowners.
