The rent's not bad. But once or twice a year the Mgmt demands a chunk of change for the "Sayreville Boro Property Tax Assessment". Only you aren't writing that check to Sayreville. It goes directly to Skytop! A couple of tenants called the town and were told the charge is bogus. Property tax on rentals are supposed to be figured in the rent! That doesn't stop it from happening though and for getting harrassed if you don't pay.

Hi I aslo live in skytop since last 1 year and i am 100% agree with you. i dont know with whom we can take this issue. i can see many people love this apartment / management. they should answer this question as they do answer other's question on site. they are stupids who favors skytop .

The taxes are figured into the rent, but by law any raises in taxes can be charged to the tenants. This is standard practice by any complex.

i live in Pine Gate apartments on Route 18 and they never asked us for this! (I've been there 4 years)

I'm leaving because of it. The taxes are supposed to be included in the rent. $900/ month plus taxes??? BLAH!!!!
