Hmmm I wonder how u found yr way to Winding Woods in the first place. Limited funds maybe'' White collar professionals'' hmmmm Doesnt sound like you have yr act together to live in such a "trashy" place. Maybe u need more education or more money. Sounds like yr right where u belong. Be careful the words that come out of yr mouth. God might place you "ghetto" area u might really fear, or worse yet, cause yr health to fail because yr attitude, racism and negativity warrant it. Be careful folks!

Limited funds? And you are located in what section? I doubt the $1300 one! And don't threaten me with religion, illness or relocating to a place worse than this. Those who wish ill will, will receive ill will. Besides, God is a God of love and regardless of how you choose to manipulate the religion to suit your needs and wants, he is not a hurtful God and would not appreciate you speaking for him or using him as you have. You should be ashamed of yourself!

Winding Woods fire "suspicious" Sayreville officials investigating
Home News Tribune Online 09/8/06

SAYREVILLE — A fire that left at least a dozen borough residents displaced on Tuesday night has been deemed suspicious, authorities said yesterday.

"We sent some evidence to the New Jersey State Police Lab in Sea Girt," said Sayreville police detective Mathew Bandurski. "It's still under investigation, and we're waiting for those results."

The blaze, which began at 11:30 p.m. on Tuesday, ripped through two apartments at the Winding Woods residential complex and damaged six others.

Though there were no injuries, it forced at least a dozen people out of those homes, authorities said.

On Wednesday, police were investigating a resident's claim that something flammable was hurled through the window of her apartment, which was where the fire started.

At an all day investigation most of Thursday, Bandurski said, investigators picked through the debris looking for evidence.

"It was a lot of dirty work," he said.

Capt. Jeff Silver of the State Fire Marshall Arson Unit was at the scene with a canine handler, Bandurski said.

In the late afternoon, the scene was released back into the care of the management company that handles the apartment complex, he added.

When firefighters arrived at the fire on Tuesday night, flames were billowing from a second-story window and heavy smoke filled the air, Sayreville Fire Chief Stamatis Bratsano said on Wednesday.

Between 40 and 45 firefighters battled the fire, extinguishing it a little after midnight on Wednesday.

Fire companies from Sayreville and East Brunswick responded to the scene, as did volunteers from the Sayreville Emergency Rescue Squad.

The fire started in apartment 5A, where a mother and her two daughters, 12 and 16, resided, authorities said.

Borough police officers responded the the scene first, evacuating residents in the 16 apartments in Building 110, rousing tenants and kicking in two doors when no one answered, police said.

The displaced residents have been relocated either with friends or to vacant apartments within the complex, said detective Barry Eck, the coordinator of the borough's Office of Emergency Management.
