Ok, so far...

While some of the office staff seemed a bit frigid to me, so far this has been a good place to live (after two months). I only have a few minor complaints so far. The lease did not match the move-in price quoted on the application. The application is very guarded and can not leave the rental office, for some reason. When I moved in, it seemed that the maintenance staff were completely clueless. Light switches installed upside down, kitchen cabinet shelf brackets installed upside down, hardwood floor very sloppily varnished over dirt and dust - peeling and bubbled everywhere, and poor paint job. Closet door track poorly repaired after inspection...
My unit isn't close to the train tracks so that hasn't been a problem. Haven't seen any bugs either (then again, it's winter right now). The location is good and the neighborhood seems fine. That being said, it is an ok place to live as long as you get a good unit that isn't in disrepair.

i also recently moved in and so far enjoy the area. not sure if it just depends on where your apartment is is whether u love or hate it. i dont really mind the train at all. but i do agree they dont really paint/fix/varinish well at all. but then again its an apartment.
