I have no idea what those who were complaining were expecting. Perhaps they are accustomed to their living in their parents million dollar homes with maid service. This apartment is a very great value. The one time I did have a maintenance problem (heat was not working) the maintenance crew responded within an hour and fixed the problem within 30 minutes. Try having a similar problem in another place. Once it took my former property owners 1 month to resolve the problem. I live on the first floor, and I have had very little noise problems. Although I am a young 20 something grad student, these people complaining are probably older, and haven't been around those who like to listen to music, or hang out and have fun in awhile. I guess your experience will depend on what stage in life you are in right now.

i agree - i'm 20 something too, wasa listening to music (not loud at all) and got a knock at the door - it's franklin greens!

You're funny "grad.student". The woman who lived under me said, "I can hear you sweeping, scrunching up plastic bags, going to the bathroom." Needless to say, as a graduate student myself, I feel that this complex is much better than many around...BUT it all depends on the mental stability, or lack there of, of the persons in your building.
