Years at this apartment:

I just moved out at the end of January, and I wish I didn't have to. I moved only becaus my job was 50 miles away and was taking me at a minimum 90 minutes atleast to commute.
I lived here for 2 years, and have lived at other complexes in Franklin Township, and Franklin Greens was by far the best, and the most affordable. I had a 1 bedroom apartment, and was paying $969 a month. There is more than enough storage space for one person. Two large closets in the bedroom, a large closet for storage, a linen closet, and an extra closet for other things.
The apartment was very spacious. The kitchen was large enough for a small table, so I made the dining room into a den/computer room. Sure, I had maintenance issues, but that is just expected, as you would when you own a home. Maintenance ALWAYS responded very quickly. I had drainage problems about 5 times in the 2 years I lived at Franklin Greens. Management fixed the problem the day I asked for service. I had a major problem once- a leak in my ceiling in the bedroom...caused by I don't know what, but it was a trip waste or something like that. I had to leave for work, and let managment into my apt when i was not there. They had to go into my bedroom closet to fix the problem, which entailed cutting a hole in the ceiling. Managment was EXCELLENT. they took all the clothes out of my closet and nicely placed them on the hangers on my bed. I was very happy to come home to my belongings nicely placed. The problem was fixed very quickly.
In the winters, snow removal is very quick and efficient. In the warmer months, the grounds are very nicely maintained.
As far as noise, well it depends on who your neighbors are. I'm a single 26 year old female and like my music, and no it is not loud. My ghetto section 8 tenants above used to call the police at the slightest noise audible after 10PM. I've had the police over atleast 6 times in 2 years. At every instance, I invited them inside, and asked them to tell me if the music was loud. On every single occassion, except for one, the police agreed with me that the music was NOT loud, and told me that I didn't have to turn it down.
The people above me were in their late 20s, not married, but with a baby. You know, i should have complained to the police that I can hear their baby crying at 3AM, but I wouldn't. I wish I did! But I don't care. The police can come all they want, as long as they agree that the music isn't loud, and they always agreed with me.
All in all, Franklin Greens is an excellent place to live. It just comes down to who your neighbors are. For myself, I couldn't hear anyone next to me. Yes, sometimes I could hear the people above me walking around, and their showers at 3AM daily used to wake me up. whatever.
Mangement is very responsive and professional. I wish they would just strategically place and segregate people amongst what stereotype they would fit in with. ie: young, single 20- somethings with young, single 20-somehtings, and families with families. If that were to happen, it would be amazing.
Oh, and parking is NEVER a problem. NEVER. It's very safe. I used to leave the windows to my apartment open year round b/c I smoke and like the air flow... I never felt at risk. Franklin Greens is really a great place to live, i would just inquire who your neighbors are... and if you get good ones, hope they never move out!
