I lived in Harrison Towers for 2 years, then moved to Easton North (complete GHETTO!) (995 a month- 1 bdrm), and now live in Franklin Greens (945 a month- 1 bdrm) off JFK. I personally feel that Franklin Greens is the best deal in Franklin Township...Easton North the worst, and Harrison Towers decent.

The only problem with Harrison Towers is truly the elevators and water. There is a 99% chance that one out of the 3 elevators will not be working. Parking is a problem too, but you know that already before you sign your lease and they show you your assigned parking spot. I suggest adding an extra 15 minutes to your commute to work in the morning because it takes about 5 minutes for the elevator to come...then another 5 for it to make its way to the ground floor (stops on almost every floor cuz only 1 elevator is working) and then the trek thru the parking lot to your car.
Harrison Towers does shut water off quite frequently. There's always a notice posted that you can't miss either on the front door or in the elevators to let you know, and they usually do it when most people are at work anyhow, so it's really no big deal.
The apartments are HUGE! More than enough space. A huge living room, huge bedroom with walk-in closet. Another huge walk in storage closet. and a few more closets too. You definitely cannot complain about the space here. I do think that the floors need some work.
Yes, there are college kids. But you know what, the walls are super thick and you cannot hear your neighbors at all. So if you are living near college kids, I wouldn't be too concerned because noise is NOT a problem at all.
Oh, and there is a separate air conditioning/heating unit in the bedroom and living room. So you can make your bedroom super cold if u want, and leave the living room on a different temperature. Definitely a plus! I did have a few problems with the air conditioning, it started leaking water towards the end of my time at Harrison Towers.
All in all, Harrison Towers is a fabulous place to live. Barbara the rental agent is the nicest person in the world. Had I never found Franklin Greens, Harrison would be my #1 choice for Franklin Township.
The reason why I reccomend Franklin Greens over Harrison is because the parking is better, apartments are a bit more modern and up to date, and it's cheaper.

No, this is not a decent place to live b/c contrary to what Babara said, there have been several break-ins into residents' cars over the past year. One day, after my 15 minute commute from my apartment to my car, I saw another resident's car on concrete blocks! The "security" here is a joke, it's just some over weight lady sitting in front of a few t.v. screens reading newspapers and magazines. If you move in here you need to bring a well w/ you because the water never works and when it does you might get orange rusty looking water. Honestly, I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy.
