I lived there from 2004-2005 and was able to control the roaches by keeping my kitchen clean and didn't mind the elevators not working and the other little things. What really has bothered me to the point of contributing here is that when I moved out I was not given my security deposit back. I wrote letters and complained, never heard back. When I called they said they had mailed it to my current address but it was returned to them. They never made any effort to reach me about it. Fine so I finally got my check - minus cuts for "keys" despite the fact I returned mine on departure to the security desk and minus one month's rent - despite the fact that they cashed my check for that month. This whole thing has been so frustrating - and at this point I am planning on getting a lawyer for that last $1000. When I was living in the apartments I heard that they could be a pain moving out, but this is just illegal.
