My husband and I first moved into Somerset Park in August, 2001. We thought "Wow. What a great deal. Brand new - no previous owners - and a BASEMENT!" Who ever heard of an apartment with a basement'



Now we think "Wow. What a hole." We started to realize this our first day...when we walked through the apartment, then looked at our socks. Filthy - as the maintenance department never cleaned up the dust that had settled from construction.



The walls are paper thin - there?s no padding on the carpets. We hear everything that goes on upstairs. EVERYTHING. We can hear when our neighbors walk, talk, cough, cry, WHATEVER. We have actually synchronized our TV with theirs - just to avoid any extra noise. I seriously feel as if I live in the projects.

Coincidentally, we recently found out that part of the complex is dedicated to Section 8, although, when we first looked at the place, we were told that they do not allow that, as it "brings down the neighborhood." Add that to the fact that the complex boasts a pool, tennis courts and a playground, all of which have yet to be seen, and you've got one BIG pack of lies.



We have been here far too long and are FINALLY moving into a home in 25 days. We will be rid of this place forever. It can't come soon enough.



DO NOT waste your money on this horrible dump. It sucks.
