Somerset Park

When I moved into Somerset Park in 5/00, the apartments were new. However, no one would be able to tell now. The quality of the fixtures, paint, and soundproofing are horrible. What is worst is that there are tenants paying as little as $2 per month or nothing in rent (section 8), while others are paying $1600 per month. There are rowdy teenagers and kids everywhere. I can now smell the snitch of weed in the air. Also, what makes it worst is that a crack head rang my doorbell the other day say she was collecting money for school. This is why I am looking for another place to live now. I need to feel safe. I moved out of the inner city thinking that I was getting away from the ghetto. You can't even trust maintenance. They came in my apartment one day without even ringing the bell. I was told by others the same happened to them. My recommendation: DO NOT MOVE INTO SOMERSET PARK. They're a waste of money. These apartments are falsely advertised too. There is no pool and they just built a playground with only 4 swings and a sliding board only big enough for a 6 month old.I predict in another couple of years Somerset Park will be known as SOMERSET PARK PROJECTS with a super named Pookie.
