I lived there for about a year, the trunk of my car got dented in by a crow bar or something. Then a few months later, the window smashed. I grilled quite frequently on my deck, and everytime someone would try and buy what ever i was cooking, its true!! Punk kids bring the 'hood' down. I saw some kid roll a joint outside my window, he couldn't have been more than 13 or 14 of age. The skelts of society live here. I would say if the police based an anti-gang unit there, you may have a chance.
Its a shame, cause the apts. themselves are great. To bad the people, mostly the kids, are criminals and belong behind bars. Child welfare services would have a field day.

Grilling on the balcony is against the rules and may start a fire you are no better than them.
