Not Bad, Not Bad at All From: tiredofrenting2 Date posted: 7/3/2003 Years at this apartment: 1999 - 2003   I basically moved here for the amenities. I love having carpet and a washer/dryer in my unit. It was also very nice being the 1st person to ever live in my apt.; however it's not the best as far as construction. The front door is not insulated well, and I am sure that I pay to heat and cool the outside. I lucked out by having parking right in front of my door; most bldgs. you have to park in back or on the street. My biggest complaint about this place is that the 2nd floor units do not have carpeting and I have had two neighbors that walk very hard and love to slam their door! The maintenance staff has been great from the time I moved in; I would however like for them to leave a work order to let me know they have been in my apt. I do feel that the rent increases have been excessive, but I would recommend that you call the Somerset County Affordable Housing office and see if you qualify for a discount on your rent.
