This is a great community and if you are in the newer section, like I was, you have total peace and quiet.

Maintenance is very good, but the rental office is unprofessional at best. But with the exception of Evergreen in Avenel, I find rental agents in New Jersey rude, mean, and uncaring. The office person was this type and put a lot of stress on me during a crosscountry move. I almost lost my apartment because I couldn't find my social security card even though I had my voter registration card, my draft card, birth certificate, three years of tax returns and 100 pay stubs.

I was told that since I had hardwood floors I had to carpet 70% of my living space, I had about 30% carpeted but never recieved noise complaints.

Washers and Dryers are stackable so they only can do a 15 pound load. Kitchens have only one 6 inch wide drawer so it is basically useless. I had to buy a kitchen cart for silver ware. The kitchen is the poorest designed and they cut corners in the plumbing in both the kitchen and the bathroom.
