We moved the week of September 11th 2001. The 14th to be exact.
We loved the fact that they just finished building the unit. e sould be the first tenants.
All of the other apts in Central Jersey we looked at were horrible. The smells, the bugs etc were making us panic. We passed Whitehall and thought they were townhomes but we stopped anyhow and were pleased to find they were for rent. The rent is high but average for this area.

Our neighbors are not friendly. Not unfriendly but I am used to having coffee with neighbors. That is unheard of in NJ.

We have plenty of spiders(who cares) and the occasional centipede(from the water pipes) but none of the other two horrible usual apartment bugs.

The model has a sprayer in the kitchen sink, we do not. We do not even have a soap dish in the bathtub. The appliance package is crap quality but hey it was new. We also had to buy a kitchen hutch due to NO drawers. There is one beside the sink and it is 5"x10" MAYBE.
The neighboring Whitehall MANOR townhome owners throw their trash into our dumpsters(pigs). The back buildings park in our spots(hogs). And the next community over has no so appropriate renters ( DO NOT WALK AT NIGHT).

Walls are thin and three neighbors have lived next door. Three downstairs.
Screaming babies, adults fighting and CURRY will haunt you but hey, we are renters right.
Maintenance are very friendly. The driveway is plowed when it snows but the sidewalks are NOT SAFE the whole winter(if there is snow/ice). They are not shoveled or salted after the first sprinkle.
If you can afford to move here but want a slightly better quality try up the street @ Greenhill Manor. They are brand new, have a pool and health facility. PRETTY!!

The bugs here are disgusting. The rental office girl lied and said she's never seen a bug and she's lived there for 4 years. Bull ----. There are so many centipedes, crane flies, some spiders, and I think even silverfish. It is absolutely gross. The kitchen totally sucks. No cabinets or drawers. I have to use the dishwasher to store my clean dishes so I can never even use it. There are obnoxious tentants who hang around the parkinglot and balconies. They act as if they own the damn place. People double and triple park so you can't even get out of your spot. It is not safe!
