Years at this apartment: 2001 - 2004
- Parking is horrible. If I am not home by 10 pm I might as well not come home. There are never any spots. I have complained but nothing is ever done.
- Tenants are rude and LOUD! I lived downstairs and after calling the office several times about the 2 am noise, the neighbors quieted down after being threatened by the cops. But not before they cursed at me and stomped on the floor to wake me up.
- Laundry facilities are dirty and dark. Sometimes I was afraid to go down there.
- My car was knicked several times by other cars and once I had to call the cops because someone parked so claose to me I could not get in.
- At night people often double park making it impossible to leave unless you call the cops.
- I have had several instances were the neighbors or their kids have come to my windows to torment my cats.
- Neighbors often have parties in the courtyard in the summer along with a DJ, no parking of course,and between 25-50 people. The music is so loud I can not hear my TV. This is supposed to be against the rules but people seem to go by their own rules at Brooskide Gardens.
- My bathroom was flooded twice from the person upstairs from their toilet once and the bathtub a second time.
- Some tenants have dogs, walk them and do not clean up after them. There are remains left in the grass for you to step on.
- There are often teenagers walking through the complex, they have thrown eggs into my apartment on Halloween at my cats.
- Lastly I have had to run the shower for 10 minute because the hot water is brown. It takes a few minutes to clear out. The shower temperature ranges from VERY Hot and Very Cold all in one shower. DON"T drink it, I was actually warned by a maintenance guy not to drink the water even through a Brita.
Overall I would not recommend living here. I only stayed because I could not find anything in this price range.
