Why aren't these high ratings mentioning Bed-Bugs.''
Because, these high ratings are being put in by the employees; :
Or else the management is FABRICATING these high ratings.
All the residents that i talk to are really upset about high water bills.
They are really upset about the bed-bugs.
they are rally upset about the irratical parking.

There is Brookside in Mercer St. area and Brown St. area and then on East Cliff St.. I refer to East Cliff St. area..

It is very beautiful park like atmosphere. And, when i drove by today, it appears like they NOW have a grounds keeper. With pretty flowers planted every three months.

They did provide the free paint, if you want to re-paint your apt. once a year.

However, the upstairs people always sounding as they were dropping bowling balls everynite. The upstairs flooded our kithen ceiling.

Then the kitchen ceiling fell. We called maintenance, they looked at it, and it was OVER six months before they fixed it.

Before that,, one Christmas Day,, '99 or 2000 area,, the bathroom commode overflowed ,by itself, about 11 am. We called maintenance, then about noon it was backing up into the tub. Then about 1pm we had someone else's turds UGH,,UGH,, flowing out of commode onto floor.. WE-USED-LOTS-OF-CLOROX-- Of course i know it was MAJOR holiday,,, BUT-OURS-WAS-RUINED... We kept calling -EVERY-HOUR-.. At 6pm i went to all apt.s in our building of 24apts and told everybody to quit using facilities...THE FIRST MAITENANCE DID NOT SHOW UP UNTIL 10:30PM,--COMPLAINING-the-nerve-THAT-IT-WAS-CHRISTMAS-b when he saw, he felt bad.,Super did not show up till almost midnight and it took crew of four workers before they got it unplugged at 1-am.

SO, on holidays, even the on-call duty DID-NOT-SHOW-UP--..

Every time i went to the office, the personal were very, very, rude.. I figured it was because they have to deal with many foreign personallities..BUT, even after NINE years and getting to know us,,they were still very, very, rude...
We are white caucasian and go back bout 12 generations in this country,, because we are all foreigners except Natural-American--------. The office personal & maintenance super also appeared to be white caucasian born here....AND-THEY-WERE-STILL-VERY-VERY-VERY-RUDE..

The apt. stove was very old. There were no more numbers on the oven dial,the oven thermostat did no work. ONE,time when a maintenance man came to unplug sewer,i showed him. He replaced Stove. AND, then got in trouble with super. The NICE maintenace employee said that the Super said there was nothing wrong with stove. Even tho they had one setting in storage,,they would rather just keep it there and not provide PROPER working facilities.. That employee got fired.

The mini blinds that they advertised as a plus,, were so old when we got there ,, many of them one could not pull up and down. They would not replace.

The shower 5 times a week went to a dribble for over 8 years. They fixed that right before we moved, but, it still wasn't that good of pressure. WE-ONLY-STAYED-CAUSE-WAS-CHEAPEST-RENT,,Then when i got disability, we were able to afford a little higher rent.

NO assigned parking space. One NEVER knows where one will park. Most apartments had two or three cars. There is barely enough off-street parking of 1 car per apartment. IN the winter time, when the Somerville Police won't let you park on street. There then is no place to park. i had to park three blocks away in a public parking,, walking back in blizzard, freezing conditions 3 blocks. City police at that time gave $ 50 tickets which other apt.residents received. You better believe the police signs.!!

SO, one NEVER knows how far one has to carry all their groceries from, or where. Nor does one know how far to carry their laundry. OH yes, they claim laundry facilities. BUT, they are much more expensive than laundry mat. Plus, is in a dimly lit, stinking basement with pipes one has to duck under and i am only 5'6".

EVERY, spring in our apartment.. there were flying termites. WE told them every spring. But they never came to check. OH-WELL-it was their building that is getting ate by termites...After the first couple years i quit telling them...

After the flood, i noticed a crack in living room wall corner start from top to bottom. When it got bigger & longer the next year, i figured i would be nice and tell them. Because in my opinion that meant the foundation from the flood was deteriating. I think the flood was in '99 which i lost my car in cause they didnt tell us the second time until it was too late.
They never came to look at crack that was expanding in 2001...
OH-WELL-IT-WAS-THEIR-BUILDING...

So when i painted, i just put extra paint, which it still showed.

We were struggling financially, so we were many times late paying. We would be sometimes a week.. REnt was due on 1st ,, & after the 5th would be late fees.. If we paid on 6th or 7th it would be $50. late fee.. I think FIFTY is way too high.. But, i noticed that it seemed if i went to pay late, that there were quite a few in same predicament..point,,them making money off late

they making money by not repairing until is totally useless.
