I am currently a renter in Brookside. And I have to mention that alot of the positive ratings have come from new tenants or from prospective tenants, give them a year or 2 they will be changing those ratings. I have lived in the apartments for a few years and have to say that every year there are new rules and regulations, rent goes up anywhere from $50-$65. Now that wouldn't be a problem if all the apartments were upgraded. Not just the vacant ones. I have seen so many tenants come and go it is crazy. I think the average stay for most people is 2 years. I myself am looking for a new place to call home and praying I find one. One upon a time living here was great but I can tell you that over the years my opinion has changed drastically. Some of the maintenance staff is helpful but not all. The rental office employees can be helpful but they are just basically customer service reps, they have no authority. It could under new ownership be a nice place. But what can you expect when the owners of this place own so many complexes what do they care. It used to be hard to get an apartment here. Now they will rent to anyone just so they can fill all the apartments. Hope this helps!!!!
