Nice apartment and okay maintenance. However, rental rate increases 33% in a year ($1200, 12/02 to $1605, 1/04). South Plainfield city has no rental control; therefore, I suggest to carefully considering the lease term.






In addition, most importantly, do not believe on what Leasing Manager Colleen, who became a staff member of this community recently (Shea was the manager before Collen and she is kind and polite), tells you unless they are written on the paper.






My apartment is facing Durham Avenue. I cannot sleep if I leave the window open since the train makes a lot of noise during the night.
