High-Rent Slums

If you enjoy throwing your money away, then this is the place for you! The property management staff is pretty much there to process your rent check. The hours they keep are a mystery. (They took down the hours they were open because they were rarely there during them.)
Most of the repairs they performed were not successful. The bedroom window continues to leak. The oven works sporadically, at best. (They acknowledge that about 75 of the apartments have this problem with the ovens, however, they've not done anything to remedy it.) Maintenance will enter your apartment with no prior notification, nor will they leave any note indicating they were there.
The property is supposed to be secure, but the gates are typically left open. Your neighbors will prop open the "secure" door to the building with the rugs. When I moved out, the doorknob to the building had been removed completely.
Snow and ice removal is limited. They'll clear a narrow path on the sidewalk but leave large banks of snow and ice for you to traverse to get to the parking lot--likewise in the actual lot.
The apartments are poorly constructed. You can hear most of what your neighbors are doing both in the hallway and in their units. The HVAC system is internal to the unit, so whenever you use the heat or a/c, there's a loud roaring throughout the apartment.
I'd suggest you learn from my mistake and highly recommend you pass this one by...
