before I moved in I gave them a list of 30 things that I would like them to have fixed before I moved in there. Until now, the only thing that was fixed was the heat, and that was in the middle of November! My apartment looks like it is one big patch up job, and the heaters are literally falling of of the wall. Only two laundry rooms in the entire complex, and the machines are not reliable. As one review stated, the place is full of people with issues, and there are always police cars and firetrucks there. The walls are not sound proof, and you can hear EVERY WORD from the apartments above, below, or next to you. The electrical wiring scares me here the circuit breakers blow all the time, and I have cable wiring (TV) for another tenants apartment running through my apartment (visible). In the summer, the juvenile delinquents of the complex gather on other peoples stoops and smoke, yell, fight at all hours of the night. The laundry rooms are supposed to be closed after 10:00pm but that never happens. People use it to drink, and smoke pot (evidence of this can be found all over the floor in the morning). The parking is horrendous, and the snow removal is not prompt or very well done. The rent is EXTREMELY high for the type of housing they offer. If you are not a smoker, you better make sure that NONE of the tenats in the apartments surrounding yours smoke, because if they do, you will smell it in your apartment. Also, they charge a 10% late fee if your rent is late. If you don't want them to claim that your rent payment was not recieved on time, send it by certified mail. It is better to pay $3.00 extra than to pay $127.00! That is the first thing my neighbor told me when I first moved in. I did not take her advice until the 3rd month I was here, and they claimed that they did not recieve my payment on time, and charged me a fee on my next invoice! The only property that is well maintained in the complex, is the property outside of the rental office. If I were you, I would look somewhere else. You would save A LOT of money and a lot of headaches. Can't wait until my lease expires, this place is a ghetto!
