I've lived here now for 5 years and I have to say that the condition of things around here is probably as bad as it has been in that time. Honestly, no decently priced apartment in central NJ is going to be wonderful, and for the most part, this place was okay (the walls have always been thin, the heat was never great in the heart of winter, but generally it was okay)...UNTIL RECENTLY.

Simply put, the new management here is downright terrible. The leasing office and maintenance staff are unhelpful and inept (they do half-assed jobs -- you know the type) -- as I type, all the people working here have gone AWOL (they have decided, with no advance notice given to any of the tenants, to "close the office" for three days: Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday; they're closed on the weekend, so I'm not really sure if anyone actually works here). When on the rare occasion you do happen to reach someone, the person you speak to will give you the run-around and put off any work that needs to be done on the premises. As a result, nothing gets done.

Oh, except for the raising of rents, that is.

My advice: yes, all such apartments in the area have stupid problems, but this place is DEFINITELY NOT GOOD -- at least not while the current management company owns it. SEk1KnECheF1ATXbXtrZ
