Holiday on the Bay Apartments

3 Years at Holiday was the worst!! From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 2/26/2003 Years at this apartment: 1999 - 2002   The only thing we like about the apt. was the space. We moved in April of 1999 when the rent was $695.00 when it was owned by an older man. He ran the place into the ground. The new mangement (the one that is there now) said they would fix up all the apts. well they never did.They did the outside over but never did the insides. A work order would never get done we had dry rought in the bathroom and had a constant leak. Mold on the walls and chipping paint. The rug was flat with in a matter of days and tore in corners. The place was cold in the winters we put blankets on the windows to try to keep the heat in and if you wanted new windows that $50.00 extra a month. The only reason we stayed was nobody bothered you and the bay was nice. The water man told me and my husband that when the place was built it was only for summer homes and its to cold to live in the winter. It had been threw 2 floods and you can still smell mold.The grass is brown and by the time we left it was sand. You cant have a garden nothing grows. The landscaping people dont care the shattered our sliding glass door which took mangement 2 months to fix. The rent goes up 10% every year which is not worth it and there is no caps. We started at $695 and ended at $860. I think it for off water is $890 and Lagoon( where we lived ) is now I think $950. I mean come on. Trust me its not worth it. If you are willing to pay $950 Baylea in Toms River are so much nicer.
