Years at this apartment: 2007 - 2007
Advantages:
Price is reasonable for the area.
Renovated apartments have new appliances and windows.
Area is fairly clean and well kept.
Wood Floors are well kept.
Disadvantages:
Management is open 9-5 on weedays only (when most people work).
We've had no electricity for 2 weeks. It took 3 trips by PSE&G to figure out it was management's fault for a faulty breaker.
Parking is a problem even if you have a sticker.
Uncontrolled heating keeps the apartments very cold in the winter - The thermostat is in an area that heats up more quickly than the apartments themselves.
Maintenance doesn't speak English, and can't properly diagnose simple electrical problems (dealt with 3 maintenance personnel).
Laundry facilities are disgusting and unkept.
Garbage and recycling is picked up once a week, and overflows constantly causing the area to smell like a land fill.
