I recently had the worst experience with Mill Run. I was scheduled to move in on 7/1; welcome letter was signed, deposit was issued, apartment was horrendous. I honestly don't fault the management, I fault myself, word of advice never commit to an apartment unless you actually see the unit. Its quite obvious that Mill Run spends thousands of dollars each year to ensure the the grounds and model unit/office is breathtaking, and I admit I was fooled. I'm grateful that I was persistent in seeing my actual apartment prior to my 7/1 move in date. The apartment had several leaks in the bathroom, the dining room had a huge black stain in which maintenance stated recently happened as a result of tiles being removed; it was a blatent lie you could tell that the floors had been polished and that they had no intentions on fixing it. I tried several times to contact the property manager who is extremely unprofessional and never returned my phone calls; needless to say after much persistance and my lawyer getting involved I was refunded my security deposit. Be extremely careful when dealing with the leasing agent KK, she is rude and pushy and if your not careful will get tricked into a commitment you can't get out of. When I 1st went to look at Mill run I had a different leasing agent who quit; it was his professionalism that made me decide to take the apartment I should have ran for the hills when he quit. Lucky for me I was able to get my refund you may not be so lucky. I've been looking at other complexes for the last week every other place I've visited has allowed me to see the actual apartment I would be renting. Go with your gut feeling and don't believe their lies!!!!
