I had a good experience here overall.

With a couple of exceptions, I have found the office staff and maintenance folks responsive and polite. I have noticed rude neighbors expecting unreasonable things and being surprised when their rude and obnoxious attitude is not met with prompt alacrity.

Any true emergencies I've had have been handled within the hour (toilet overflow, etc.)

I have no bugs, the apartment is very large compared to higher priced neighbors (i.e. The Village, where I left because of rats in the tiny, flimsy apartment, as did 2 of my neighbors).

And this is a small dog friendly environment which is important to me and worth trade offs, this is not my dream home, but I didn't expect it to be. The location is terrific, especially for those of us who work in Philly and take Patco. With the shuttle bus I was able to get to work even when my ankle was casted by door to door public transit (practically).

My concern now is the number of people who are illegally squeezing into the apartments. Families of 6 live in the same sized apartment that I share with my dog. This is dangerous and also creates inconvenience because of the number of adults who drive separate cars, leaving parking at a premium in the evenings, especially on weekends.

My only major complaint is about the parking. They need to have a sticker system identifying lawful, registered w/lease/office cars, and create a "resident" parking area and off to the ends of each lot the remaining spaces for visitors. I don't know why this is any more difficult to do then the pool passes which also are limited to the lawful tenants of each building.

If you are looking for large roooms for the price, this place is a value. Similar units would cost two to three times the amount of rent if they were in Philly. And the convenience is second to none. I love the location, the trees, the maintenance people whom I have met.

I've lived here 4 years.
