Do not Rent Here

This is the worst place I ever lived. This is the only apartment I ever Had that did not return my security deposit. Further they actually tried to charge me more than the security deposit. Management is rude and impersonal. They treat tennants as the enemy and do not want to be bothered by them. One example, We lived on first floor and were plagued by a Peeping Tom. The management's only comment was "Call the Police." When police recommended a light be place outside apartment to deter the Peeper management refused saying it would cost to much. They try to charge you for everything they can think of. Blinds are flimsy and will easily break and the will be charged to you unless you have a sympathetic maintenance man who will do it for free. We were charged for damage to a carpet when we left even though they admitted that a best the carpet would be replaced in 11 months due to normal depreciation. They never cleaned the carpets even though the lease required them to do so. When questioned on this they claimed they never ask to clean the carpet so they never did. The staff is very rude, especially to anyone with a foreign accent. And their are a lot of people in the complex with foreign accents. One last example. I lost a mailbox key and was told I had to pay $5 for a new one. I did. Three days later they put up new mailboxes with free keys. I went back and asked for my money back and was refused. When I asked why I had to pay for a key that was useless after three days I was told that the management was unaware that the Postal Service as going to change the mailboxes. This by the way required the Postal Service to come on to the grounds and build new post boxes complete with concrete bases. This according to the management was done without their proir knowledge or consent. At least that is what I was told when I tried to get my $5 back. The office staff really needs training in how to deal with the public. Do not rent from here.
