Not bad, good neighbors, but poor interactions with staff

Overall, I would recommend living in Echelon Glen and recommended living in the "newer section" the White faced stucco buildings up front. Apartment came as advertised we had a 3rd floor with awesome neighbors. No one ever bothered us. Our only minor complaint was the barking dogs downstairs in the "non pet" block of buildings. They only barked on the way in/out but otherwise couldn't hear them at all.
My one big negative is the interactions with the main leasing persons. There are quite a few really nice people who work there, but overall the main leasing person is rude. She was next to no help, and works from a point of view of my way or the highway with no middle ground. We weren't expecting much. Just working washing machines and a fixed sliding door. We only got the working washing machines when after 5 complaints that it smelled of urine in the laundry room they replaced all the machines. I've read complaints about "couldn't get my laundry in" however honestly no one ever did laundry after 9pm M-F and no one did laundry at 8am Sat/Sun.
Most families are in their late 20s/early 30s which was right in my age bracket and we never had a single issues with snow removal/parking. Don't listen to the complaints, give them a shot but try to be in the apartments up front in the new section. You will hear police sirens but the police station is literally right in front of the complex...what do you expect and the fire house is around the corner.

We are moving out ASAP. The tenant situation in our block has definitely changed for the worse. 1 month ago new neighbors moved in, and honestly moved at least 6 other people into a 2 bedroom apartment with them. Some of the member of the family are really nice, but the area now smells horrible. My roommate and I decided its just not worth the inflated rent prices to stay, and will try to find other options ASAP. Luckily are lease is up soon. We were hoping to stay, but honestly its not worth it.
Most of the new tenants are immigrants, who have packed the apartments with people. I'm shocked that the apartment complex doesn't do walk through of the towers, as you can't miss the smell or the noise of the packed middle apartments on our block. Go elsewhere!
