My husband and I moved to Echelon last year and we were referred by a colleague of his. We got a one bedroom apartment right behind the rental office. There was this rental office employee called Jill who was extremely friendly, professional and helpful. She really made sure that our specs were met. So we ended up with a very spacious 1 bedroom apartment with a breakfast bar (I guess it was one of their remodelled apts).

As soon as we moved in I noticed that the kitchen was very cramped cause there was not enough place for the fridge that was lying in there. It was immediately taken care of in a day or 2. They actually moved the entire fridge to the dining area!!! And the kitchen was fantastic after that. Very nice appliances, gas stove and dishwasher. Then again once the lights in the bathroom and bedroom just went off while using the hairdryer and I called the maintainance in the morning and they were there in like 2 hrs and fixed it. Seemed like the meter had tripped. Never faced teh problem again.

I used the laundry room in the building and had no issues with the machines. We have always had parking space here. No sweat about that. Ample parking place. The gym equipments were gud too and neat. Well and we also received our security deposit check minus our gas bill that was due. So we were pretty impressed as we were not sure whether rental communities returned security deposits.

The only negative was there was this particular female in the rental office who was lost and kinda had a care a damn attitude. So I never really liked speaking with her. The others were okie and Jill was a darling!!! So it is a mixed crowd. But the same bebe who was kinda wierd actually passed on the maintainance issues. so thats why I kinda ignored this bit. Its not like u are gonna sit there in their office the whole time and watch her face. As long as things get done fine.. I am in columbus right now and miss Echelon a lot. The apartments are really spacious.

So I guess everyone has their experiences. Mine was a grt one at Echelon and till date I am glad that our colleague referred it to us.
