I am just dissappointed to read such untrue things about the place I call home.My family and I rented this apartment[1993]sight unseen prior to relocating from France.Ihave had nothing but a positive experience.
All I want people to know is that it is true apartment living isn`t for everyone,especially those that have lived amongst the many personalities and ethnicities that exist in this country..

i wouldn't say it's untrue especially if u haven't lived in our shoes, so you really shouldn't say it's untrue if u don't know. i for one do not make up things and why would i waste my time trashing a place if it were in fact nice?? i think it's good that some of you can live here problem free, but for those of us that have had unpleasant experiences, i feel need to let others know what they could be facing here at brooklawn. i'm glad it is working out for you. but some of us are unfortunate with the situations we face here and i guess if i didn't have to deal with a boiler room/sump pump and noisy rude neighbors then i might live normally as you do.

It's not that we live here problem free, its that we're realistic about apartment living. This place is by far not perfect, but it is what you get in Northern NJ for the price. I'm sorry that you have one rude neighbor, but most of the people here are very nice and very neighborly.
