What a horrible experience. When we moved in I refused to believe what others had written. The grounds were well kept and the view from the apartment was great. BUT wouldn't you know, behind the nice facade they put on is a real circus. Maintenance has been shoddy at best; my German luxury sedan (not naming the brand to maintain anonymity) has been scratched and dinged numerous times. The security is not nearly what you d expect, in January the office was robbed and rent checks were stolen. The gym and pool are mediocre compared to other complexes in the area, and the rent is ridiculous, when we moved in last spring rent had just gone up and we were going to pay 2400/month, now this year it s going to be closer to 2700/mos, not that we can t afford it, we can, but come on you have to ask yourself if it s really worth it and 10% increases year over year is slightly absurd, I work on Wall Street and my raises barely exceed 10%/yr. There is NO OVERNIGHT visitor parking, and the management company doesn't hesitate to tow those cars left overnight, and even during the day the visitor lot fills up extremely fast. I take the ferry everyday, and it s very convenient but I will definitely be moving to Riverbend or the Hudson Club when my lease expires, everyone I know that lives there is exponentially happier then we are. If you choose to live here GOOD LUCK, you ll need it. Did I mention b/c of the large drafty windows(nice to look out) the electric bills exceed 200/mos in the summer, and heating is quite expensive in the winter.

I live in a 3 bed and my electric bill averages $108 per month. My friend lives in a 2 bed on the 1st fl over the garage with a fireplace she uses all the time and her average gas bill is $46/mo. Also, gas bills are only for the winter months. The Property Owners Association Management, (not the Landings)tows cars from the visitor lot and when cars are outside the indented parking areas along the main road , I found out the hard way...by being towed.
