I've got mixed feelings about this place...

I've lived at 25 Riverbend for a few months now and compared to a lot of places across the River (i.e.NYC), I could have done much worse. My response at the moment is mixed.
The negative:
1/ things do not always get fixed on time;
2/ DirecTV monopoly make cable and internet access way too expensive. You can get OptimumOnline now i think;
3/ hot water disappearing on some mornings without explanation
4/ the onsite store is a huge rip-off
On the positive:
1/ Good community atmosphere - pool parties during the summer
2/ Lots of onsite activities - movies, album making etc If you like that sort of thing
3/ Great commute to NYC and good shopping down River Rd (Edgewater, Fort Lee etc).
Overall, I like the place. Some of the reviews have been scathing. One would think this was one step from a ghetto or something. That has not been my experience. I have been and will continue recommend Riverbend as a nice place to live.
