i have lived in this complex for 4 years now and will be moving upon completion of my lease. i began in a 2 bed and moved into a 1 bed after the first year. even though the security deposit on the 1 bed was roughly 800 less than the first apt the mgmt company would not return the money to me....no real problem. since i have moved in the mgmt company has begun to charge us for water and has devised some plan to save each tenant money by packaging internet, satellite, and etc into a price you pay the mgmt company each month. it should be a bit over 100 a month. problem is, i like the tv programming i have, i like my optimum online but i don't have a choice. the mgmt office informed me i wouldn't have to change until the lease was renewed so i didn't. then came the phone calls from the tv folks telling me my service was suspsended because i didn't sign up for the combined package. the only response from the mgmt company was "guess this didn't work out in your case" there (as someone else pointed out) a new restaurant being built...between the construction noise, blowing dirt, and soon to be constant smell of cooking food blowing in your open window i think i am done. you have to be smart to make the money you need to pay rent over here...feels good when they treat you like a fool...and 175 for a space inside or you may get parking violations all over your car window....i saw the security folks actually put a green violation sticker on someone's door.....screwed up all the paint...oh, forgot to mention the notes they leave about recent strings of break-ins and the tricky entrance door...go get your own food from the delivery guy...may as well go pick it up.
