My husband and I have lived here for 3 years. Unfortunately, in our lease renewal, management wanted to raise our rent $250/month. It's a shame, because we have enjoyed living here. Our apartment was very quiet, few maintenance problems. Of course every apartment complex is going to have their maintenance problems, however the staff have been extremely responsive to maintenance requests. Congierge staff is very friendly and helpful, once you become a familiar face. Treat them with respect and parking for visitors is not a problem (especially with PF Changs restaurant next door). I would recommend this apartment especially for NYC commuters because of the accessibility to the ferry and bus. Rent prices are about what you would find along the Hudson coast. Do not move here if you are not going to get your money's worth and use the amenities.
Unfortunately, once you give your notice to vacate, you are dropped so fast. Leasing staff didn't even know who we were, after living here for 3 years. Wanted to show our apartment without giving us an estimated time. Very difficult to communicate with. (Unlike the congierge and maintenance staff)We were probably one of the quietest residents with the fewest problems. We have been extremely disappointed with the way we have been treated since we gave our notice to vacate.
