I'll tell you everything you need to know

I can tell you every positive and negative experience I have had. Then you be the judge. I lived there from May 2005 through April 2008.
Location. Well lit and no problems with safety. Everything you need is walking distance. Supermarket, Starbucks, etc. Also convenient if you are commuting to NYC (Ferry) or a short $15 cab ride to Hoboken if you're looking to hang out (I did that often). HOWEVER, if you drive, and need to get anywhere else, it was a major pain in the a$$. You are stranded on River Road, and you might as well tack on 15-20 minutes on your ride if you expect to get somewhere. It will only get worse as new construction keeps moving along.
Management. No problems. The receptionist Anna Maria was a little snooty at times. PJ Lefort was professional, but I did have an issue. More on that later.
Doormen. I never had an issue with the doormen, and I thought they were professional. They didn't bend over backwards to help me bring in packages and sometimes they would let the delivery guy up without calling (Even after I requested they did), but for the most part, they were fine.
Maintenance. The occasional running toilet and a few problems here and there. But when I put a request in, they would fix it the next day! No need to call. You can put requests online. They have a site.
Noise. I'm warning you right now. You better pray you don't have a neighbor like me. I enjoyed playing my music, and I have had complaints against me. In a way I can't blame them, HOWEVER, there were times it wasn't up at all and I still heard banging on the wall. These walls are PAPER THIN! I could actually hear conversations from my neighbor. More proof' Each morning the alarm clock woke me up. The problem' It was my neighbor's alarm clock!!! lol.
Parking. I had a spot so I was good. My guests were fine, but I noticed towards the end of my stay it got worse. Sometimes my friends would just give up and go home. Happened more on the weekends.
Pool. Nice. You have 3 choices of pools. There were a handful of hotties walking around as well. Always a nice site to see. When you live in a rental building, you get a younger crowd as opposed to old farts.
Clubhouse. Hardly used it. But very nice. On occasion I would shoot indoor hoops or hit the treadmill. They have a lounge area with a pool table as well.
Construction. Major thumbs down. Don't get me wrong, it looks nice on the outside, but they used the CHEAPEST materials available to build this place. Don't let the looks fool you. This place is falling apart. The kitchen is very basic with a dishwasher that you can hear from Fort Lee. My walls had a crack from floor to ceiling every few feet (Probably where the sheetrock ended). Don't forget the paper thin walls. I noticed they re did the hallways and I was thinking they did it to cover the cracks. Look at it this way, it's a rental. If you own it, another story.
In closing. Overall a good experience until the very end. That deposit you put down when you moved in' Well... Consider that a vig. They charged me close to $500 for two spots on their carpet! I was floored. I just carpeted my entire bedroom in my new place with the best material, and I was charged $700. For them to charge me that money for 2 spots with the CHEAPEST carpet known to man was unacceptable. I pleaded with PJ, but he wouldn't budge. I was livid.
So in conclusion, if you're willing to lose at least half of your deposit and experience what I did, then it should be worth it.
