i currently reside in red bank run. i have been here for a little over two years. it's not too bad for the price considering i have found other places for more money and less space in a not so hot neighborhood. one can't expect things to be completely quiet and soudn proof and be perfect because it is an apartment. so keeping that in mind i write this review.
i'll start with the good. the place is huge for the money. i live in a one bedroom with my partner and our bedroom is HUGE. we have a four post bed, a dresser, dresser with a mirror, desk, and 2 night stands and still looks like we barely have enough to fill the bedroom. there's also a walk-in closet. we have a washer and dryer which yes is small but it is an apartment so you can't expect a full size. it is nice to have your own washer and dryer as opposed to having to go to the laundromat. you have your entrance and walkway so it feels more like your own home. i also happen to get lucky and my neighbors are awesome. we talk and hang out outside when it's nice. also underwood hospital is right down the street and you are also a 1/4 mile off of 295 so it's easy giving people directions.
alright the inevitable bad. while i don't have many complaints i have one big one and that's the maintenance staff. while the old guys are cool the younger ones suck. i've have a leak every time i take a shower the hallway is wet and now i get a leak into my kitchen. i called them and at first they told us it's cause we didn't have a shower curtain. mind you it was in the wash but the hooks for it were hanging up. so they've caulked and grouted but the leak comes back. the last time i called and told them that i now have a hole in my kitchen sealing that watere is coming through they took 4 days to come out. i called on a thursday afternoon and they didn't come til monday morning. so when they did come they caulked the tile where the water was leaking through. i'm no genious but you're not supposed to caulk tile. pretty much the maintenance staff just want to band aid the problm rather than fix it. i can't complain really about noise because it is an apartment but my new neighbors that recently moved in like to play their music loud as anything at midnight. i work late so i'm up til 2am but my partner has to be up at 6am. also it sounded like we had sumo wrestlers behind us for a while but i think they moved so that has stopped. also they need to mark the parking spots because your neighbors have a tendency to steal your spot. it's suppoed to be 2 spots per unit but it never works out that way. the bathroom and kitchen definitely need a face lift. theis place was built in the '70s and you can definitely tell that.
if you're looking for something that's not tiny for a decent price this place isn't bad. you just have to keep in mind that it IS an apartment and everything isn't perfect. definitely good if you need a place to stay while looking for a house or something.

I agree they are very nice as apartments go. If you get decent appliances from them and don't mind the smallest bathroom ever, it's probably the second-nicest "complex" I've ever rented from. And the location is spectacular because I-295 is, seriously, like 45 seconds away. HOWEVER... When I was there in 2003 or 2004, the 1BR unit was $715. I would move back there in a heartbeat for that price. Those apartments are about worth $700, I'd say. But what they're asking for them now is indefensible. (Well, the only defense they have is "Everyone else raised rents astronomically so why can't we?" That excuse, much like your kitchen ceiling, doesn't hold water.)
