Rent somewhere else if you are smart

Years at this apartment: 2001 - 2003
The first year we rented at Arioso was pretty quiet and uneventful, and any maintenence issues we had were taken care of relatively quickly. The staff was friendly and our neighbors were quiet. Besides the fact that the building is nearly 30 years old and the floors squeak, our renting experience was fine.
So....we signed a second lease for 12 months, thinking that our second year here would be as good. In the last 6 months, we have gotten new neighbors. All young, probably just our of high school, loud, obnoxious tenents. The smell of pot now permiates the hallways, our car stereo was stolen, windows are always getting broken by snot nosed brats throwing rocks or baseballs, and the NOISE! Forget trying to sleep! The thumping of loud vulgar music shakes the floors and pictures on the walls. And... if you are lucky, you might walk down the hall and find a large pile of dog poop gracing the floor in front of someone's doorway. The staff is still friendly to us, but they are just letting anybody in. It's turning into the "ghetto". Unfortunately, we are stuck here for another few months until our lease expires, but believe me, we will be packed and ready to GO! The best think that could happen to this place is for someone to buy it out, bulldoze, and build a new complex. It's really turned into a dump!
