My husband stopped into The Aspens today while I was at a job interview. We are going through quite a life change, moving over 70 miles to Albuquerque. It takes alot of our time to come into town and apartment shop. What did he get today when he stopped in' He got snubbed, that is what he got. He asked for information and to see a model or available apartment. The girl in the office handed him some outdated information on the complex and said "We don't have anything to show you." Hello. There is a HUGE sign on the side of the building outside that says "MODELS OPEN". You'd think, that if they have no models or units left to show that the sign would have been removed. Maybe they don't have anything left to show, maybe they are full, but from the sounds of this forum, I seriously doubt that. I don't know if it has anything to do with it, but I think they discriminated against him, maybe thought he didn't make enough by his looks to live there, which isn't the case. Jeans and a T-shirt is what he was wearing, it's not like he was in sweats. But still, he got seriously snubbed and based on that alone I wouldn't rent there. I'm glad we found this forum though, very informative.

FYI...people who wear sweats can also have money or afford to pay rent. Are you saying if your husband was in a suit and tie he would have been treated better??
