My girlfriend and I have lived her for 9 months now and this place is so bad.
I mean where do i start i guess i can start from the beginng the management is horrible we had a big bubble in the sealing from water damage and they were gonna rent the apartment to us like that.
Also the tub had broken chips and would cut my girlfriends feet sometimes when she would shower and as a couple of months came by this is wear it gets bad we have a neighbor downstairs who has no recpect for no one he has come up to our door several times and banged on the door and would cuse at us because he thought our music was to loud which it was'nt so we went to see Julie the property manager and told what has been going on and she said that we should put no music on or have it low she never adressed the issue with the guy comming up to our apartment and still has'nt till this day we asked her if she would transfer us to a different apartment and she said she would get back to us and has not done so .
Their is mold in our windows we have to put our bed in the living room because we were having a hard time breathing at night our contract s up in june and we can not wait to get the hell out of here this is the wrost place i have EVER LIVED!!!!! at i am trying to conact the main people that runs this pace so maybe they will let us out of our lease early so if you have read all of this please do not rent here they are to expesive, management sucks, their is mold in all the windows, the apartments are to cheap i mean paper cheap just everything about this place sucks.

Unfortunately there is a guy who owns Aspens, Cottonwood Ranch and Taylor Ranch Apts. His last name is Cohen and no one will ever give you his phone number. The best person to is the Business Manger, Mary... if you call they should be able to give you her number. The property "management" is shady, usually you can't actually talk to anyone about your problems. We contacted the Better Business Bureau about all the issues we were having. Once you do that, they will DEFINITELY respond to your problems. Good luck, I feel for you!

I'm going through the same things with mold and the quality of the managment. I have written a letter to American Realcorp (investors in the three properties) and have not gotten anywhere. They offered to move me to a sister property, but will be facing the same issues. My lease is up in August and plan to move out as soon as I pay my rent for the last month. Also, be aware of maintanance and other individuals coming into your apartment without your knowledge.

I might be able to take your review more seriously if there weren't so many spelling errors and grammatical mistakes. If you want people to take you seriously and you are going to post on a national website, maybe you should use spell check. I have never had any problems at The Aspens. I do get mold in my window from time to time but I just spray a little bleach on it and it goes away. The management is dedicated to the residents and does a great job trying to keep residents happy. I think some people are just determined to be unhappy no matter what and have unrealistic expectation of what apartment living is.

Gee heartandsoul100 it sure seems like you are making light of what could be a very dangerous situation. How do you know how bad the mold in their window is? Do you work there? And who cares about the spelling and grammatical errors? Which why don't you read your last sentence "unrealistic expectation..."

I live at the Aspens and have lived there for about 3 years now. I can attest to the mold problems in the master bedroom windows, its really bad. I know that management doesnt know unless you tell them that there is a problem. I too just clean the windows with cleaner to avoid the mold build up, but seriously where is it coming from. The staff there has always been friendly however I have asked for things to be repaired and it does seem to take a while. I also have a huge complaint about them entering when they have not notified me and also not letting me know that they have entered. I think that is an invasion of my rights. For the most part the noise level is tolerable I have stayed in placed that have been worse. The security is not present at all. I know there is someone that comes around but really no marked security so now with all the traffic in the area there are people who use the pool and gym and dont live at the apartments. I just feel like there really arent any amenities if general public uses the pool and gym. Unless they put a gate people will always come in. Another problem was I got a nasty note that asked me to stop throwing trash in the general areas, It wasnt coming from me it was the upstairs neighbor who used to pee off the balcony and party till the sun came up and then party again... The apartments are nice, some problems with trim coming loose from cabinets and gaps in the doors, other than that a pretty nice place to live.
