Excellent apartment. Somewhat expensive but worth it.

Moved into a 3 bedroom ground floor apartment about 8 months ago. We looked at a lot of places all over town and for the price this had a much nicer layout than all the others. Lots of amenities, crown molding, accent walls, gas range. It was cheaper than comparable 2 bedroom apartments in the Northeast.
Maintenance requests are usually taken care of the same day, next day at the latest. The only problem was some very minor flooding during a severe storm. A lot of water blew into the patio, about an inch deep and it didn't drain because there was dirt built up where it should have drained out the side. Some nieghbors came by and helped me clear away the dirt for it to drain. The carpet within a foot of the patio door got wet. Maintenance brought a large fan in the next day and pulled up the carpet to dry it out.
Overall my family and I feel very safe here. Not the kind of neighborhood where they need to advertise it being gated or fenced. Neighbors have been quiet. Very rarely hear anything from upstairs or next door. Parking is adequate, some areas it's a bit harder to find a space but that just means walking an extra 20-30 feet.
