I moved to the Aspens about 6 months ago, it seemed to be a little better then average, it was overpriced for what get, but I had to get in an apt as soon as possible, when tranfering here for work. The staff seemed ok when i was sighning the lease, But getting the repairs done after was quite a challenge, they agreed to doing some of them after i confronted them about the lack of security at the complex after My vehicle was broke into, and I lost about $2000.00 worth of tools, and stereo equipment. I posted fliers at the complex as soon as I realized what had happend, offering a reward for info leading to the arrest of those resposible, but the were taken down by the staff as soon as they realized they were up. I confronted them about this, and they said it could not be allowed, on any of thier properties, and they insinuated it was my fault for leaving the things in my locked car tempting these alter boys, at which I replied that i gues since they have ac exposed on the propety they were available for the taking, she informed me that it was different. I mentiond that most complexas have nite security, and she informend me that they would have to raise the rent to cover the cost, and they could not afford the additional cost. Funny how low income areas manage to do so, and charge less rent. My advise would be as i intend to do is drive on, They will not aid in helping educate tenants when others are victims of a crime, They intend to keep it hid

I find it interesting that I've lived here for 2 years and have never seen "courtesy patrol". Glad I'm leaving, for multiple reasons.

I find it funny that you will not post as Anonymouse, and Ray Charles, or Stevey Wonder, would be better then then the so called Courtesy Patrol if the ahve it is only used to ticket those who do not pay for parking under the carports. It is all about the money, but tenants are neglected in the end. I was told by the manager that they could not afford security, and they would have to charge tenants more if they had to do so, that is a very poor excuse for misleading tenants. Apartments in very low rent, and dangerouse ares provide this service at no extra charge. I hope you enjoy working for the Aspens, I am sure it is stressfull, and could eat on your consciance.

I don't mind posting with my user name. I am a resident who just doesn't agree with you. If rents were raised people would scream about that. I don't feel as though I was misled when I leased here, and I think more people should get on here and say nice things and not only get on to say bad things. IMO

For the price we pay for our apartments in this complex, we should feel safe.....IT IS THEIR RESPONSIBILITY to MAKE SURE THE PLACE IS SECURE....otherwise, there won't be renters here.
