Worst apartment ever rented. If you look on the internet you will also see people complaining about the exact same things as me. Over a 6 month period, I received 5 late payments of rent, and 1 court notice. I was never late on rent. After calling to clear things up, I would get more notices, as if I never called and cleared things up. Then every freaking time I would go to the office and show them my receipt. I heard another person say that one month they left no rent notices on every door one month. Plus parking sucks. Someone broke my car window. Someone broke into my friends car. Neighbors were drug dealers. They also screwed me out of some of my security deposit, stating b.s. fees. Like I said, if you don't believe me check other rating sites.

This is my response to a previous review posting. I thought it should repeated in response to this review also. "Casa Tierra Apartments has been my home for the last 13 years (1996 to present). Please note that I said my "home." I would not live anywhere where there are "drugs, drive bys--2X, homicides, suicides & domestic violence" no matter how much it would cost to move. My mother (who passed away in 2005) made Casa Tierra her home for over 20 years! I would never have allowed my own mother to live in such an environment! When I have had to call the Casa Tierra office I always speak to the office staff (manager, assistant manager, etc). When they are not present (at lunch, etc) the call is answered by a courteous and respectful answering service. When the staff returns to the office they always return my call. There has never been a time in my 13 years that when I called with a maintenance emergency that the situation was not immediately addressed/repaired. I have never had anyone park in my designated parking space, and I have never had my car "broken into." Everytime I have wanted to use Casa Tierra's laundry room it was open (during designated hours). Is Casa Tierra and its staff perfect. No, but nothing in life is. In my opinion it also takes "good residents" to also make a "good property." The current management associates (Britney & Rebecca) as well as their staff are very friendly, respectful and good at their jobs! Before judging Casa Tierra Apartments (or any apartment complex) speak with the real "long-time" residents who gladly make the place their home, and not some "unknown" renter who in my opinion sounds like they have a grudge against our community. Thanks & Best Wishes. In addition: In my 13 years as a resident of Casa Tierra Apartments I have never received a "late notice" posted on my door (unless I was late on my rent). It is worth repeating. I have never had any issues with the parking at Casa Tierra, nor have I ever had anyone "break into" or damage my car in anyway! K.
