I lived in one of this communities lofts in 2007. Within the first 48 hrs of living there my car was broken into and stereo stolen. Honestly I was desperate to find a place and hopped into Cinnamon Tree too quickly. The "A/C" is a joke, the apartments are like little sweat boxes all summer long with horrible wall mounted miniature units that barely work. The appliances were out of the 50's, the oven so small it didnt even function like a normal oven, not counting the broken knobs. The area around the toilet is so cramped you might as well be using a bucket in a corner and pigeons were nesting above my stairway making it a virtual slip and slide of bird crap. At night there are some "Odd Types" that hang around the hot-tub laundry area and if you walk near the picnic areas after dark not only are the roaches out in full force but every stray cat in the city turns the place into a campground. The area of town is horrible and while Cinnamon Tree does have "Security" for limited hours of the night, I constantly saw vagrants sleeping on the grass or people pulled over in the front of the building, not to mention the people obviously slipping in to help themselves to my car stereo. To top it off when I told them I was breaking my lease due to saftey concerns, they told me I would only have to pay a one-month's rent penalty of $600 and in the end they tried to stick me for over 2k. Avoid this place like a hot batch of the Swine Flu!
