My wife & I relo-d to Abq with the Gap in 2001. Rent here was like half what we were paying for much less in CA. All you who complain - try paying what you pay at Cottonwood in CA. Not gonna happen.

Roman Tubs in the bath, pet friendly, green grass in the desert, a putting green, tennis court, hot tub, pool, basketball, mall across the street with a movie theater, and Krispy Kreme 5 minutes away. Man, this place was living like royalty.

OK, so the office staff are a bunch of dumbshXXs. I ignored them. Just paid my very low rent and they remained away from me.

What sucked, is Albuquerque. A boring town, no nightlife, nothing to do in the whole state, actually. After 1 year of NM, we left. Now we're in Portland, Oregon, which is much nicer and greener. We moved to Portland, and found a place as nice as Cottonwood, but not in the XXXX desert. We're buying a home here.
