Best Apartment in Albuquerque

I have lived here at Hunter's Ridge for 4 years and have never been happier! One of my friends that I go to church with told me about this website and after reading the filth that someone wrote, I felt compelled to tell my story.

I too face the park, but I love it. I take walks several times daily. The world that we live in today is a far cry from when I was growing up. We trusted people, but today it seems that trust is lost. I take every precaution to protect myself, that is not the apartments' job. It is mine. The gates work just fine and so does the maintenance man. In fact, he is very courteous and has always gone out of his way to make me feel at home. When it snowed last year, it snowed all over Albuquerque, not just Hunter's Ridge. They did what they could, in fact I saw him and the manager both out shoveling and where the ice was thick they were using a shovel and an axe to break it up! There are a lot of great people here and many have lived here a long time. One of my neighbors has been here more than 20 years! I think that says a lot as well. There are no loud people, it is very quiet and peaceful. I have never heard any gun shots, but I do wear a hearing aid. I think it's best to say that whatever happens in Albuquerque does not necessarily happen at Hunter's Ridge. The gates are very effective at keeping out the homeless people that Albuquerque is plagued with. Incidently, the "city" was not forced to clean up the parking lot next door. I found out from the manager that the property that owns the parking lot is the company that owns the Albertson's shopping center and the city made them clean it up. I also have never seen graffiti here either.

Prior to living at Hunter's Ridge, I lived across Central at the Crestridge Apartments. That was motel living and had no sense of "community". Hunter's Ridge gets a Gold Star in my book. I have also had several friends move in as well and they paid me $200 without me asking for it! All I have left to say is Thank You for listening to me.
