I have lived at La Mirage for over three years now, and as I am now preparing to leave I do feel a bit sad about it because this is a GREAT place to live! This place always looks inviting when I drive up and turn off Academy, and the grass, parking area, pool and workout area are always well-kept. The BEST thing about La Mirage is the staff. With over 300 units to take care of, it is always amazing to me how pleasant the staff is, they always take a moment to ask how you are doing, and they are very diligent and consistent about maintenance.

I have read some of the comments from other residents about maintenance that I must speak to. It appears to me that some of our residents were not in school on the days when they taught us how to change a light bulb. You have got to be kidding! Being diligent and consistent about maintenance means prioritizing and taking care of real problems when they come up. The quality of living that La Mirage offers is well worth having to wait a bit to have a real maintenance problem fixed. But in an emergency the staff comes through with flying colors! My hot water heater sprang a leak this past summer, and they had it fixed the same day and the next morning they dispatched carpet cleaners to my place to clean and dry my carpet. It was fast and professional, and the staff checked on me to see how things were going in my unit. I would say that's great service that comes with our very modest rent and great amenities.

The manager, Amanda, is professional, kind, and knowlegable about how this place works, and you have to give her credit for not only keeping this place a nice place, but also for being a good leader for her staff and defending her staff when the light bulb crowd comes knocking. For those who have a bit of patience to lend to any situation, her staff will go the extra mile for you and you will be impressed.

I have always felt safe and well-accommodated here. My unit is well constructed with quality materials, and otherwise has everything we have ever needed and is very comfortable, spacious, energy efficient, and has lots of storage room.

Come to La Mirage and just settle in and enjoy this place, and give Amanda and her staff a warm greeting and they will take great care of you while you are here. This place is the best!

Could it be any more obvious that that this review was written by someone who works at La Mirage? Is it just coincidence that when I lived a La Mirage and up until the last couple of months this place had a rating of 33% and then all of a sudden there several reviews with almost identical subjects gushing over this place in a way that reads like it came out verbatim from their apartment brochure? Oh no, no one would notice that! HA! Move in here if you want but take it from someone who has already made that mistake: don't do it. And about your rant on maintenance problems... My family and I (all 5 of us) were without heat for 4 days in December. Slightly more important than a light bulb, yes? The air-conditioner malfunctioned and flooded a portion of my apartment which ruined a couple of pieces of furniture. Yeah... not their problem I understand but to put it into perspective the 3bdrm $700/month all utilities paid I lived in many years ago had something similar happen and they *did* replace the furniture. And there are several more examples than that. Also, I would like to point out that I was bold-face lied to on several occasions... but I guess, to be fair, they were professional and kind while doing it. The above review should be removed. It's so obviously fake it laughable.

No, I do not work here, I just happen to be a happy resident reflecting on my three-year history with La Mirage. I do not "rant" as you put it, though I do find your comments to be more in that direction. It sounds like you had a rough time during your stay here, I hope things are better for you now. It seems that most of the people commenting on La Mirage have been those with negative comments, so perhaps when one person stepped forward with good things to say, others felt inspired to add their stories. If our stories seem similar, this is good, and should send a message to others that there is much more going on at La Mirage that is GREAT that those things that are not.
