Safety / Security is horrible here. I had someone attempt to break into my apartment in the middle of the night. That happened only a few months after my moving in. Then, just last week, someone smashed out one of my car windows. I'm assuming they were after the contents but luckily they must have been scared off with the alarm. An arroyo runs through the property and in the middle of the night you can hear people yelling on their way through (or on a few occasions, setting off fireworks...in the middle of April). Another time people came out of there and started asking me for money. Its unsettling, expecially if you come home after dark. Oh, and another resident had their car stolen by a person who threatened them with a weapon. Supposedly Vital Protective Services patrols the property at night, but I've never seen anyone that remotely resembled security around here. When you call the office to report these incidents, they just stare back and say "really' I can't believe that happened." Well, crime seems to happen all the time here, but I don't see anything being done about it. I will not renew my lease. Can't wait to get out of here!

Aside from that, the interior of the apartment is nothing specical. Although mine had been vacant for a while before I moved in, they didn't even bother to paint since the previous resident. Oh, and if you like soaking in the tub for stress relief, forget it! They are tiny, shallow little things that are uncomfortable. I can also hear my neighbors closing doors in their apartment, listening to the radio, etc.
