I've been living here for about a year now and I switched from the one bedroom apt. to the two bedroom apartment. The One bedroom was nice, it had a big kitchen, dining room, bathroom, but no closet space and (if downstairs) lots of bugs. If you get it be sure to put your name down for pest control at least once a month.
The Two bedroom is better. Way more closet room and one huge bathroom and kitchen. The only downfall is the size of the dining room and living room is slighty smaller than the one bedroom. Upstairs is way better, no noise and more exercise.
Parking is hectic but manageable, but in my expierence the property needs cameras. Our car had coke poured on it and our neighbors windows were busted out a few days ago. I guess the garage would be a good investmen. Maintenance is awesome. They are always on top of everything. The Leasing Agent, I guess the "new girl" as another commenter put it is the best of all of them. She's always on top of everything and is the most friendly. Without her I don't think they would have as many renters. The associate manager is pretty good and knowledgable but the main manager is a b!#$%. She thinks she's too good to associate with the renters and will not talk to you if she sees you in the office, instead she'll give you dirty looks.
Other than the bugs, noise and ------- I would recommend Manzano Mesa to anyone. Hopefully by the time you get here the manager will have gotten fired!!!! LOL...
