I am a new resident of Manzano Mesa. Prior to moving in I read all these reviews, I still chose to rent an apartment here because I talked to the staff about the issues and concerns in the postings already listed. For the person who feels as though he deserves an awnser to his questions regarding the van; the staff told me that the van was set on fire, by the owner of the van and because of the sensitivity of the case against the owner, police would not allow management to tow the van until thier investigation was finished. As for the alleged shooting that caused me great concern, I was informed that it was a suicide, now I don't know about you but why should the management company need to put a family on blast to a whole apartment community about such a sensitive subject as suicide. From my understanding the persons involved weren't even residents the incedent originally started in the parking lot of the Manzano Mesa Community Center. It seems crazy to me that this one person who obviously doesn't like it here wouldn't just move. In the few months that I have lived here, I have found it quite a pleasant place to live my boyfriend and I love it and my cousin also just rented an apartment here. I would recommend this place to anybody!
