When we moved in, things seemed okay. The price was a little high, but it was in a decent location. Myself, husband, and dog lived there (and by the way are extremely clean people). When we moved out; we even fixed the little holes where nails were, steem cleaned the carpet, cleaned the entire apartment (top to bottom). . . The maintenance guy even did his walk-through and said the apartment looked great. A few months after moving, we received a call saying that we were not going to get any of our security deposit back (after being told we were getting a full refund) because the carpet had to be replaced due to pet odor. Now, keep in mind that our wonderful dog is potty-trained (and always groomed). And supposedly there were a few other miscellaneous charges that were not brought up before. My husband and I raised a fuss and then waited for a call back from a man that worked there (which never called us back). Rather than cause more of a headache for us, we decided to let it go (we were done with the place right'). Not so. . . Eight months after this I received a call saying that they were going through files and saw that we owed 200 dollars (on top of the hundreds they took away because of Security Deposit). Of course I raised a fuss (and could possibly be going to Small Claims Court because of this). Hopefully this will help you in deciding on where to make your home.
